I am going to do the Riley's Rangers mission in Fallout 3, I am lvl 30 with pretty much all of the other armors, most stats at 100, so decide my path for me.

I vote stealth suit, because that's what I use from the moment I acquire it.

(Ok, I actually voted for the second loadout.)
I'm ashamed to admit I have no rippers in my collection on this character, I need to visit Andale.

i think the poll is bugged cause I cant see anything except 1 for chinese build.

EDIT: ok its working now, 7/2 means I use the Chinese build.

Metal blaster for combat, grenades for insta-gibbing the overlords, they have pockets sometimes.

For Extra Win: Walk in naked with bare hands, walk out naked, but with a ripper.

I vote for the second loadout.

Becuase, I think it'll help more in both cases..

A) You're trying to get in, if you sneak in that lives some riff-raff to deal with later.
B) The rangers aren't all that strong... They'll die without your help.

and also, I think you can't see it because no one has voted for it yet.

I'd say stealth suit.
Because with the addons, SuperMutant Overlords/Warlords/whatever are a real pain in the ass.
That, and I am using the Stealth Suit with cat ears and tail :3

I vote a set of serious power armor and as many automatic weapons as you can carry. If you have never done this quest, especially at level 30, then you could be in for one hell of a fight. Then again, I run some mods on my game that make combat in Fallout 3 far more lethal than in the original game. It really depends on your difficulty level and how comfortable you are in going through a fairly large building that will be filled with Super Mutant Overlords.

Honestly there are alot less overlords than I was expecting, I am doing fine with my sneak attacks and exploding pants grenades.

I've always done this quest in the teens whilst lvling, so it was never a challenge, the only hard part should be the end, getting them out of the hotel, and at that point I can easily just pants the overlords.

Those Overlords are sooo cheap, they have stupid amounts of health! Same things for those damn Ghoul Reavers.

OP: Go for #2, take on an army of Overlords man to...mutant.

Yeah, when you're level 30, a nuka cola doesn't mean much.

After doing the first floor, I decided to be safe, went back and grabbed my winterized fuck you armor, gauss rifle and Gatling laser.

Super Mutant Overlords? Don't you just take out your Terrible Shotgun and blast them in the face a few times? Seems to work for me...

You won't be doing any stealth during the final evacuation scene, so don't bother with stealth armor. Just shoot everything.

Regular combat armor for better protection than stealth suit, and higher speed than the nerfed t51b.

Add helmet + shades or hellfire helmet. Pop some med-x and you'll be pretty close to the 85% maximum armor rating.

On completion you can use the combat armor as a repair for the ranger armor.

I say go with the stealth suit. Way more efficient sneaking around than spraying and praying. However, you're pretty much screwed if you get attacked by Supermutant Overlords, so do what I do... Hotkey the power armor(that is, if you're using a PC version). Too bad only the PC version can be modded. *sigh* I could only dream of playing fallout as Batman with a scoped and silenced Tavor C.T.A.R. 21 and a working motorcycle, or master Chief with with a Nuclear Super Sledge and (working) jet pack.

That's why I chose a suite at Tennpenny Tower. No strange vagrants running up to me and shoving paltry gifts into my weathered hands.

I once received an empty Nuka-cola bottle. Not sure if it was a glitch or what, but I busted out laughing. Good times...
