Being as its Valentines Day, do any of you consider yourselves as a great romantic person? Like you would go out of your way or all out to make your girlfriend happy by doing something really special. If yes then what have you done and if no why not? If you don't have a girlfriend then would you be this type of guy? If you answer the poll then please do leave a post.

Edit: Crap my bad bout posting in the wrong section.

I am romantic, unfortunately not enough games allow me to express this side of my personality, except maybe Fable 2.

Edit: I now realise this isn't a discussion about games, just posted in the wrong section.

No, i see Valintines day as a way of forcing you to show somebody you love them. There doesnt need to be a designated day for it, any old day will do.

Hard question. I dunno if it has to be with me liksing stuff that guys likes(Im a girl), but I have been in many kind of annoying situations where guys fall in love with me... Im not really that interested. But I like to flirt(with girls mostly)... And I like romantic stuff, but I kind of dont like that kind of "cute" stuff either.

Cant decide if yes or no. Why didnt you put in a "Stuck in the middle" option?

As much as I disagree with your spelling, I agree with you.

Fakeness is pouring out of everyone during Valentine's Day.

So I guess my answer is: "I don't get any kind of pain, except for physical one".

Ah, Valentine's Day. The day I would have revealed the feelings I've had for a friend for a while.

If I hadn't found out a few days ago that she has a new boyfriend, that is.

Well, at least it's better than the time when a girl pretended to have feelings for me for several months before ripping my heart out and bashing my skull in. Not literally, of course.

...

...Anyway, I see myself as rather romantic, but unfortunately I'm also a good friend, so girls tend to want to keep me... as a friend. Feh.

I know I have a romantic soul but I never get a chance to show it or to act on it, its a shame but it means the day I do show it I will make someone very happy.

Well, this is as good a day as any to try a bottle of Hobgoblin English Ale.

It's supposed to taste like chocolate toffee.

While I would go out of my way to make my girlfriend smile I wouldn't say that I'm overly romantic (I just try to be a nice guy).

It's worked for me so far.

I'm a hopeless romantic and would go to great lengths to make a girl happy if I love her.I had the chance to do just that then I fucked it up horribly and now the girl thinks I hate her,I don't.

As a side note I saw a shirt that sums up Valentine's day: Happy over commercialized fake love Day

I'm romantic in a sense. I have great-ish ideas for dates, but no confidence to get myself these dates.

I planned on showing up to the ladies house with a bouquet of her favorite flowers, and then taking her out for a movie of her choice and paying for everything. Then, I would have taken her out to the finest restaurant a 15 year old boy can afford.

Ah well, atleast my AK-47 loves me.

My friend tried that once and the girl thought he was takeing the reltionship too seriously and broke up with him

And when you tell people you like to cuddle guns rather than have sex with them, nobody looks at you strangely!
...That may be because of the guns though.
It's very hard to look at someone starngely whilst staring down the barrel of an assault rifle.
Right before I killed him

I always participate in Valentine's day. A lot of the freewriting I do involves romance of varying quality. I prefer a long walk or a while alone with a loved one rather than a crazy sex-filled night. I conveyed my feelings to my first love in High School by taking her, spinning her about and performing a leaning kiss (and I would be married to said girl too, if I hadn't moved away a year later. Part of why I'm wanting to move back to Georgia so badly).

I do not, however, write poetry. Damn, guess that counts me out.
