According to my alarm clock it's 20,7 C, should go up a degree or three during the day.
I consider optimal room temperature to be 22 C because that's perfect t-shirt temperature.

I wear t-shirt inside all year round, even down to 13 C inside.

Our house averages about 15 degrees in the winter as compensation for having no air-conditioning during the summer.

STP (standard ambient temperature and pressure) is I think 25*C at 100kPa. My flat is currently 15.6*C. I'll put the heating on if it drops below 15. Until then I'm wearing a jumper, heating is expensive. My ideal temperature is about 18-19C. I start melting much above 24.

Usually around 20C here. My room is a bit warmer since my computer and a table lamp is constantly on, except for when I'm sleeping.

Uh... my ceiling fan's on the highest setting?

We don't have a thermostat, because we don't have air-conditioning. Weather forecast says it's about 22.5 degrees Celsius right now, which feels pretty normal, so I guess that's what my room temperature is.

Sorry, all of the answers are wrong. SLC is 25C at 100kPa [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_conditions_for_temperature_and_pressure#Standard_laboratory_conditions].

But seriously, I live in Aus, so it's probably around 23/24? But I do have ducted air conditioning. Hrm...

I keep my air around 82-88F. I'm cold nature, so it doesn't take much cooling to keep me comfortable, If I put the AC any lower then I get cold and that doesn't do anything except make my electric bill higher.

Depends on the time of year for me. When its summer and +25 C I have it turned way down and have the windows open and the AC going. When its winter and -20 C and lower then I have it up at 20 C or so.

The correct answer to this is a quote from community:
"This is THE room, this is THE room temperature" or something.

I don't even have to set it, the hot water pipes around my room ensure that in summer its a toasty 90F during the day and in winter its usually around 70F.

Home is usually around 70ish... which is 19-21ish. Usually if it's above 10C I open the windows and sit with a blanket. I love fresh air and will sit bundled up and shivering if I have to enjoy it.

Work is torture right now, it's been over 80 at my desk... which to us normal non-Imperial people is about 27 degrees. Way too goddamn hot.

It becomes extremely hot around here in the summer time (113F at least twice a week - 98F-105F the rest of the days) . I keep my thermostat at 78F to 80F, to keep the price as low as I can without having to turn it off completely. Though the bill is still too high for my tastes. I turn on fans and keep the windows open in the early morning to air the house out. I close them again the closer it gets to mid-day. I've also replaced blinds with 'black-out' curtains. I'm considering also dressing the rest of the windows in the house, besides the bedroom, in foil or at least a thick paper - at least in the summer time. Yes, it can become that uncomfortable, even with air conditioning.

In the winter, I don't even like to have it on unless we have an over-night guest in the house. Even if it's a 'record low' for us here I tell my husband to build a fire in the fireplace, cook a nice hot meal in the oven and to put some more layers of clothes on (even though he turns into a nudist when he gets home so ANY clothes really). I tell him those things, just like my Father used to tell me. Wise, wise man. XD

76 F is a pleasant temperature. Your options are way too low!
I'm convinced you either live somewhere warm year round, or are an at home nudist. There's no way I could come home dressed for fall/winter (read: pants and a sweater) and sit around in 76 degrees in my sweater.
I guess if you insist on dressing like an Eskimo at home, you'd need to keep the temp below 76 :p

Do your friends wear T-shirts in the winter? Or do they all just strip down when they come over to visit? Seems a bit awkward.

21 oc , the correct setting for room temperature according to the heating industry in which I work.
