Poll: Ruffian Games Making New Crackdown

We all remember Crackdown, the game that everyone thought would be some crappy throw-away title that you had to buy to get the Halo 3 beta, but turned out to be one of the best games of the year. Well key members of the original Crackdown team have recently left Realtime Worlds and started their own development company, Ruffian Games. This news created a large amount of speculation that the studio off-shoot was created specifically to work on Crackdown 2, which of course would be awesome. Realtime Worlds will not be working on the next Crackdown, since right now they're working on their cops-and-robbers MMO, A.P.B. This is all just speculation at this point, but we can only hope that it's true. While I am incredibly excited about A.P.B., I'd be even more excited to get my hands on a Crackdown sequel. Is that greedy?

Crackdown will have some major compotition with Prototype coming out soon but...but...no I can't think of anything else to say

Well, it was developed by Microsoft Game Studios. That's a bit of a snag.

I loved going onto the highway on Crackdown and targeting the car wheels as they sped past, causing them to flip end over end.

Didn't get the original, but I've heard nothing but good things about it and will certainly buy Crackdown 2 if/when it is released.
