Info: This is an interactive playthrough of Shiny's 2000 pc game, Sacrifice. In between missions, viewers can vote on who I, the player, work for next, as well as a few other choices later in the game.

Now: Pyro has been voted in again and he has us once again performing nefarious deeds on someone else's turf. As before, I'll be including a written summary, though from now on I'll only be summarizing the mission itself.
If you can't read the options in the text box, they are "Nothing" and "Pledged myself to serve justice". This is basically choosing whether we are going to keep helping Pyro and Charnel, or defect back to Persephone and James. Stratos is currently not an option either way.
NOTE: Text in quote boxes is Eldred (or Mithras) narrating.
ZYZYX: Orgren? I though Sorcha had this one?
PYRO: Empress Sorcha is falling behind. You must gather the slaves. And tell the empress to return home if you see her.
ZYZYX: Faestus is here. All we have to do is send the farmers to him.
FAESTUS: I'll be right here. Send 'em over and I'll take care of the rest.
This mission Eldred has a new unit, the Pyromaniac, converted gnomes who now work for Pyro. Pyromaniacs have a missile launcher that sets its target on fire, an attack that comes in very handy during this mission. He also gains the spell Dragon Fire, a projectile that flies around and hits (or perhaps more appropriately, attacks) multiple targets. Also setting them on fire.
It's a good thing we have all this fire-power, if you'll forgive the pun, because James creatures are very tough, their only weakness being... well, take a guess. After building a couple of manaliths and summoning three pyromaniacs (making that four in total, since you start out with one) I'm attacked by the enemy wizard, Charlotte, a half-humanoid spider. Sort of like a centaur, but with more legs.
CHARLOTTE: Wut's the matter? 'Fraid o' spiders?
ZYZYX: Look, it's Charlotte. I guess she's pretty good, as geomancers go, but all I know is that she's got quite a mouth on her. Just talk talk talk talk talk. Never shuts up. Ever.
We fare surprisingly well. Charlotte has a larger force, but we fight them off with no losses save for one manahoar, and plenty of souls are left behind for conversion. After going over a hill and building another manalith on a nearby mana fount, we're attacked by Charlotte once again. This time things go a little less smoothly. Charlotte has a group of creatures that can hurl boulders over long distances (I can't seem to remember what they're called) so my gnomes and new manalith get pummeled pretty bad. A couple gnomes are killed in the battle, but we manage to kill Charlotte and her melee creatures, and are able to move on to the boulder throwers. A few shot from the pyromaniac cannons and one Dragon Fire later, and their dead.
After this point it's fairly smooth sailing. We see Charlotte a couple times but since she's more or less out of souls, she's not much of a problem. I walk into a town full of peasant farmers.
ELDRED: Go to my altar, or I will kill you all.
They run for the altar. As I'm moving onto the next village, I'm interrupted by a cutscene.
ELDRED: It cannot be! Marduk.
MARDUK: Greetings, old friend, but they call me Ashur here.
ELDRED: Why have you come?
MARDUK: Our bargain is incomplete. Your rivals have fallen, but our reckoning is not yet fulfilled.
ELDRED: My rivals? You destroyed everything! The very earth was crumbling beneath my feet.
MARDUK: Do not blame yourself overmuch. The doom of Jhera was pre-ordained. Content yourself that you were but a pawn... as you will be again. As for you, little imp, I will not forget your role in all of this.
*Marduk vanishes.*
ZYZYX: Is he gone? Oh, master, there are other worlds. Other places we could go.
ELDRED: Nay. We will do something to stop him this time.
Game resumes. Nothing much of interest happens after that. With Charlotte more or less neutralized, all I need to do is walk from one village to the next. The peasants try to run once, but my creatures attack, and the survivors surrender and go to the altar.
FAESTUS: That's all the slaves we'll need. [Laughs] Not too bad. Not too bad at all.
ZYZYX: What are we doing, master? Idiots like him are not going to help us stop Marduk.
ELDRED: You are right, but we will not rely on anyone else. We will strengthen ourselves, first and foremost.
... Mission ends.
Mission begins...ELDRED: Carn, the recently subjugated James stronghold, was delivered into the hands of Charnel as a part of the new alliance. In the mean time, the empress and I used it as a forward base to launch slaving raids deeper into the Glebe. I remember one raid in particular...
