Rhetorical Questions or Sarcasm.
i've often heard that Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but i've also learnt that only those who dont understand it say that...
And rhetorical questions and remarks -unless used to state something of philosophical reasoning- are just thick and pointless.

But this is just my own opinion. Im posting to the Escapist just for a broader opinion and set of results.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit?

I think Black Adder wants to have a word with the man who said that!

OT: I will pick sarcasm. In the right hands (or is it mouth?), it is hilariously deadly!

I'm British, our main weapon against the world is dry sarcasm. My dad likes to regale me with stories of his trips to America and the many people he has offended or confused because they didn't catch on that he was being sarcastic. That's not to say all Americans don't get it, just the majority.
