Actually, when I was younger, I found the first Dooms to be quite scary, when I was playing the SNES Doom, I said "OH SHIT" pretty loud and my father was near, reading a newspaper. Also, the PS1 Doom is quite scary as it have a very different soundtrack and the sounds of the monsters are scarier too, compared to the normal PC Dooms, I even use the sounds and music from the PS1 version on the PC version to make the game more scarier.cplsharp said:snippity snip
And not to mention Doom 64, that was the only Doom game I was too scared to actually finish the game. I eventually finished it a couple of years ago, but back in the day it was quite scary, I still gives me shivers whenever I hear the babies crying in the later stages of the game.
I still consider it the scariest official non-modded Doom yet, I even consider Doom 3 a joke compared to Doom 64.
