Anyone seen that film? You know the one from 1979 with Ray Winstone playing as a Borstal inmate? No, well watch. If you have what are your opinions of it? I wanna know because I'm bored and I watched the film last night. This topic is a bit pointless but aren't many things... like other pointless things, any suggestions? Anyway get on topic now!

it was actually on TV last night. i stayed up to watch it.

I find it to be a very good film , well acted and made and - for its time - very unapologetic.

Liked the scene with Archer debating with the prison officer who gave him tea.

The buggery sequence was hard viewing but then rape is never an easy view, although in the case of Scum I was struck by the obvious youth of the victim and made most uncomfortable indeed.
