Poll: Search function sucks even harder now!

What happened to the search function? If I want to search for forum posts on any game that the Escapist has made content for it always redirects me to a list of said content. Now, admittedly, this happened before as well. However, there used to be a button that allowed you to go back to the search results for the forums. This is now gone and makes it impossible to search for practically anything at all. Now whenever I want to search the Escapist forums I have no choice but to use Google, and this SUCKS!

This seriously needs to be changed.

(Off topic, why haven't polls ever been fixed either? Is it really that hard to allow for apostrophes or to just automatically remove them but leave the remaining text that follows? Instead It's been left as a trap for the uninitiated.)

WAT? Okay, that's weird. Yeah, when I search for Borderlands I do get the link. But that is the ONLY game I can search for that gives me a link option.

Okay, so it's not intentional design, it's just insanely broken.
EDIT: I found the problem. If the search term is only one word, it displays the link to redirect back to the forums, but if the game has more than one word in the title (like most of them) it doesn't display a link.

Is there a place to report these bugs?

Yes there is [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Tech-Team], they do not work on weekends though so you'll have to wait until Monday for a response.

Umm... you know there's another way of searching the forums, right?

No... no I did not. And that's another thing! Why are all the features of this site hidden. Like geez, it's right there in the middle of the screen, how's anybody supposed to see that!

But thanks. I'm sure I'll find the advanced search functions useful.
