Do games with Romance/sex usually mean better games for instance with Dragon age or maybe fable. Or do you like them in your video games or should they not be allowed. i personally enjoy having sexy things in game its enjoyable. [that came out wrong]

im aware that you don't see anything except groans kissing and your imagination [The Pearl 'surprise me']

Only if it is relevant to the plot if not the it has no place in the game unless it is something like Oblivion. People who like their WRPG seem to like all their options open even though if given the chance not 1% of them would try seriously be a Gay Queen or an Orc or something.

I believe there should be sexuality in ALL RPGs. Your meant to be making your character unique, so if you wanna go around doing stuff like that, it should let you as readily as it lets you kill.

Yea.. games should be alot of things..sexy, bloody, intense, fun, interesting. There's nothing wrong with sexy. Saying that it's only appropriate if it tells a story is a silly argument. Thats like saying gfx are only important with a good story, or only use action in action scenes..or blood when someone should be bleeding. I don't know why ppl are so turned off, or hide from sex appeal, or the idea of something being a little dirty. Dirty is fun. There's nothing wrong with it. Mind you there is that line between perv-out and sex appeal. But that's an entire different discussion all together.

I think only if it fits into the story, like how Heavy Rain did it. (Although yes, there were a couple completely unnecessary scenes)

If it helps develop characters and relationships, then I'm all for it. If it's there to cause controversy, get it out of my game.

It was fun seeing my boy blush his head off in Heavy Rain when he undressed the female character so she could take a shower.

I'd like to get Bayonetta some day as the demo was fun and the overt sexuality of it is titillating. G-d of War and Conan games with their bare breasted wenches adds fun to a game. It's not like anyone needs it for porn reasons. Plenty o that in the Internet if that's what you're looking for.

It just kinda a bonus when something like that happens. Can also add something to the story. I wouldn't call the relationship in Final Fantasy 10 sexy, but it was romantic and added to the emersiveness of the game.

I voted only if appropriate for the story, but if its an RPG or something, then sex should be included in the game as an option.
The problem though is that in alot of games (and films) it feels forced or shoehorned in for absolutely no reason.

I like deep character development and rich plots in my games, bring on the romance. I want to feel a deep connection to the game. *no homo*

I think it helps for story immersion, I mean, in Dragon Age I was really affected emotionally when Allistar dumped me cuz he was gonna be king and my blood wasnt noble enough for him or some crap like that....real slap in the face!

it should be in pretty much every RPG, but don't make a big deal of it and don't make it mandatory, like RPGs should be.

Except for enchanted arms. That homo guy made me take the game back and get my money. I'm no homophobic at all and have friends that are of alternate sexuality, but, I couldn't not stand all his innuendos and his fairy lisp, He kept saying shit like, "oh i love me some man parts" and "ill let you feed your stuff to me any day". So raunchy. OK he's gay, I get it, like the half shirt, limp wrist, and the voice of a 12 yr old girl didn't already tip me off. if anything the gay rights people should sue for defamation of character.

Im fine with it when 2 main characters that are genuinaly in love as characters, it affects the story and that act like relatiable human beings.

It definitely makes a game really stupid when 2 characters who have no attraction or dont like each other develop an instant romantic relationship. If it's done right, it makes the story much more human and emotional, but it should only be used if relevant.

As long as it is genuinely related to the plot and there is emotion or at least character development to justify it being there, then I have no problem.
My favourite example of this is still in Mass Effect, seeing Ashley and Shepard (in my case anyway) gradually fall in love over the course of the story and culminating in a tastefully done well executed emotional scene was good in my opinion.

That said I don't think sexuality should be taboo, as long as they can be mature about it and not exploitative then I think I won't have any problem with a high sexual content in games, just as long as they know where to call it quits.

Too often it feels more like it's a gimmick to sell a couple copies to the sweatier and lonlier amongst us than it does a legitimate romantic plotline. Or it just feels tacked on, as if it was the obligatory love plot that the game had to fulfill in case maybe it brought in another player who wasn't sold on the whole "let's go kill space aliens" idea.

If it's done right, I suppose it could be a good addition, but I can't really think of any instance where the romantic subplot of a game felt like an important element to me.

Sexy things are like gore they should be in there but the developer shouldn't go out of their way to get it in there.

Sex is the only thing that get Man and Women together, so why not. That and the fact that killing someone by shoving 7 street sign trough his skull being ok, but that a couple having sex isn't. Am I the only one getting the irony?

I'm fine as long as it's well done. Most romances are so ridiculous it makes me giggle. Take Dragon Age, the only character you have to work at is Liliana. All the others are ready to sleep with you after five minutes of dialog.

Doesn't it cause controversy anyway?
