I generally have some difficulty falling asleep at night. Last night I dreamt I was having difficulty falling to sleep. So that was weird.

What do you dream about?

to recall a dream you one have to wake up during the dream, and to remember it for any amount of time you have to think on it upon waking. else poof its gone just like a dream.

about 50% of the time i wake up from a dream to remember it, sometimes i wake and forget it cause the phone is ringing or im is beeping me awake, or the dream just was notinteresting or cool enough to reflect on a bit after waking.

did go thru a period for several years when did not recall a single dream tho mostly in my college days when i barely slept and partied way too much.

Usually oddly normal stuff. If I remember at all, which is rare. I usually only get colours or feeling though. IF you've ever tried to keep a dream journal, you'll know how hard it is to describe that kinda stuff.

These days I only remember a reoccuing dream and I guess that's why I remember it.

Most of mine, if not all of them involve acts that cannot be shared on this site, it's been so long since I had sex *cries*.

Other dreams generally invole reliving past events or have me literally play life in God mode, but my most frequent non-adulterated dream is me thinking I've woken up and starting my day, it's a bloody hed trip.

I remember about half of them.

My dreams are usually varied, the only recurring things are A) Punching someone but having zero effect on them or B) my limbs become extremely heavy at thwe most inconvenient time e.g while on a main road or while running from something or someone.

Last night i dreamt that I finally found the courage to talk to this girl in one of my classes who i kinda like then was on a bus with people from my school, then I was talking with a girl who i've known since i was 4 and was apologizing for shouting at the sumo from street fighter to shut up on the bus (bus might have been flashback actually) and then she held a machete to my face. And then things changed suddenly.

I was a BAMF of a cowboy (I may have actually been john marston) and I had been told to search for a young boy who had disappeared. I rode through the gray, moonlit desert through the night and saved a woman from some bandits, I then got behind her and started Groping her breasts and putting my hands down her shirt and feeling her nipANYWAY i found the boy who was dead, killed by bandits I presume then i rode off again and woke up.

My mind is a strange place. I really want to lucid dream so i can make anything i want happen, Including zombies...and more slutty damsels in distress.Yeah.

I can usually remember bits and pieces of my dreams.

I can't really remember the last dream that I had, but I think it had something to do with Minecraft.

Yes, I'm serious.

I think I dream about 50/50 or less (1/3). I sort of remember my last night dream which was competely weird (I rather not talk about it).

The last memorable dream I had involved me being chased down a rough trail in a forest by four distinctly different coloured, highly venomous snakes. Once I escaped, I sat down and then was proceeded to be swarmed over by hundreds of tiny (no longer than a centimetre in length) bright, vibrant, green and yellow worms which starting burrowing into my skin. Quite the pleasant dream to say the least.

EDIT: My reply to the poll was 50/50.

Sometimes. I basically see two types of dreams:

A dream of a completely normal day, with maybe some small changes to reality. I usually wake up really confused after these ones, since I have problems telling them apart from reality.

The dreams where some weird ass shit happens. Like me beating up satan. While flying. That one was so so awesome.

I very rarely remember anything about a dream unless it's remarkably strange.

I had one where I walked along a narrow path through a forest which then opened up into a huge field occupied by dozens of these cages that were about 30ft high. What was odd was that I remember walking along a path exactly like that but have no recollection of where it is.

Another one I had when I was alot younger was being chased around my aunt's house by a giant bumblebee. Yeah.

If I dream I usually remember what happens. They're normally like someone has taken all the things I've paid attention too recently and stuck them and me into a blender.

For Instance one of my most memorable, and suitable for sharing, dream was me having a dog fight in space. However instead of a space ship I was riding a shark that could shoot lasers, once I'd won I preceded to leave by flying through what was essentially a Stargate at which point I woke up. I'd been watching A LOT of films that week...

Other than that it's generally recurring dreams I've been having since I was little. They seem to go through phases.

I also day dream a lot, but have little or no control over what happens which is slightly odd, almost like meditating... or I could be havering >.<

I go through bouts of remembering and not. Generally they make sense in context, which unsurprisingly is hard to explain.

You always dream, remembering is the difficult part.

And that's where I fail too. I used to be able to remember my dreams pretty well, but the last year or so I keep forgetting them.

One night I had watched every LRR that I hadn't yet. I dreamt that I was dead, but not dead and that I could escape but Matt(from LRR) was holding all these dead people hostage.

Eh, all I can remember from my most recent dream, of just last night, was that it featured someone who bullied me and my friends at school.
A bully, who years before, had been my best friend... I tried to bargain away my own safety so that they'd leave my friends alone, but I failed... they took my safety, and broke the promise to leave my friends...
*Regains composure*
Anyway, it seems that all of my recent dreams, for the last few months at least, have featured people who bullied me throughout the course of my education. Can't get away in real life, can't get away in my sleep...

They have made over 300 videos so that seems like a long time.

I'm aware we do always dream. I'm a first year Psychology student, that allows me to know pretty much what I knew before but in exam answer form.

It's just easier to say you don't dream for those of us out there who don't understand sleep cycles.

In the last dream I recall, an artist I respect made a collage for me. It actually seemed pretty convincing, and I've always wanted to know what a collage of hers would look like, so thanks brain.
