Poll: shotgun or sniper which do you prefer?

I play a lot of TF2 and I am normally a soldier, so shotgun is a must. However, with the sniper update on the way I guess I have to get good at sniping or else!

If it's between the two gotta give my vote to the shotgun just cuz their badass and Army of Darkness is one of my fav movies of all time, but given the choice of weaponry from a larger stock I gotta go with explosives in general and gernades. Love lobbing them around and seeing mayhem unfold.

I may enjoy rushing in and blowing dudes up with a shotgun to the face, but there's nothing quite like the sensation of watching, observing, planning, that distant, ethereal feel of ending a life or breaking something while a good distance away.
