Poll: should i be good or bad

when it comes to games so many people try to be as evil as possible, but if the game gave you a choice what would you do. I tried to imagen what it would be like if I was in team rocket in pokemon. so what do choose to be in a game good or bad? (please tell why)

Evil, because in real life, wreaking havoc and creating suffering normally gets you dirty looks or in trouble. And because 90% of the time, the evil people are badass.

being evil is always cooler
eg in pokemon being evil means u dont have to train pokemon u just steal them instead
many moral choice systems suck
in fallout 3 bein evil means u can kill friendly npc's and you get exp from it which sucks quite alot
in infamous to like zero punction stated being evil gives u a much cooler power then the good option

If its multiplayer, you'd prolly be better off being evil.

Actually, most people choose to follow the good allignment in games; only a small percentage choose evil.

I normally do what I find fun. This almost always lingers on the evil side unless the choice is ridiculous for what ever reason. An example of this is in Fallout where I'm given the choice to help out Megaton or to nuke it. No, I'm not going to Nuke a city for fun that's just not fun for me. Staying around and robbing the town and mugging them? Fun.

This is why I'm scared to play The Old Republic once it comes out. Because odds are 90% of the people are going to end up as Sith lords or bounty hunters.

Its hard for me o be evil in a game.

I couldn't do it in Fallout 3, I just wanted to help everyone. I tried by blowing up Megaton, but I felt like shit afterwords, so I redeemed myself by killing Mr. Burke and Tennpenny.

In most of the moral choice games I've played, being evil is more rewarding. If that matters to you, evil is usually the way to go.

Personally though I would choose good because everyone choose bad because they are a loser and want to be a badass
So fuck going along with the loser crowd and join the eliist pricks in the good cart
I suppose it's either be self rightious or a loser is your choice

I'm only evil for the achivment. As soon as I get Devil achivment ( Level 30 with bad karma) for Fallout 3, I'm going to kill everyone in Paradise Falls. Tenpenny and Burke are next.
