I played Fallout 3 before it and bought it simply because everyone was saying it was a Oblivion Clone. So in my mind: Fallout 3 = Good must mean Oblivion = Good.
And apart from my hatred of Oblivions townfolk I found it to be a very enjoyable game. But it helps if you enjoy side missions and looting caves like I do though
Yes yes and more yes
but only if you get it for PC.
Even if you don't think your computer can handle it, there are mods that help make your computer run it. Plus, mods make the game far more enjoyable than whats origionally in the game.
Trust me, I still play it on PC with mods, and I got it on launch day. I haven't touched my 360 version for like a year, and I got it a year and a half ago.
Get it for whatever computer you have. with stuff turned to minimum it will run on most machines, and without mods it's almost impossible to get beyond level 15 or so.
You more than likely won't regret it if you are showing interest in it. buy it.
It is, in short veeeeeeeeeery good.
In long, veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery good.
I really, really enjoyed it, but I can't recommend the Game of the Year edition more. The Shivering Isles stuff is like a whole other game bolted on, it'll take you a while to explore and adds a lot.

Actually, a priest opened an Elder Scroll, and it foretold you getting the4 PC game, because you feared the collective sighs of the entire game's peoples... I guess they want the PC mods. As my friend told me the other day: "If you don't like Oblivion, you're a comunist!" I'm not sure if it's true, but better dead, than red, right?
