just wondering why you think that, what exactly was wrong with the graphics, I thought they looked just as good, if not better than mw2.gummibear76 said:- Horrible graphics

Ahh, I can see that, I was actually thinking of character models and detailing. Especially that part in the beginning of blops where you are breaking out of the camp... I just thought all of the characters/little details looked better in Blopsgummibear76 said:Blackops: http://cod-blackops.info/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/1fgj3-e1281158550285.jpgFallenTraveler said:just wondering why you think that, what exactly was wrong with the graphics, I thought they looked just as good, if not better than mw2.gummibear76 said:- Horrible graphics

Personally, I liked the fire effects for MW2 better, and the shader / lighting effects seem to be smoother / more detailed.
but then again, that's just my opinion.
If you are going for a good multiplayer experience ignore both and buy Bad Company 2. If you have to get a Call of Duty I would get Modern Warfare 2. MW2 multiplayer has much more depth and variety in everything, while in Black Ops everything feels bland, the guns feel the same and the graphics look very mediocre. As somebody who has always been a fan CoD, I found BO to be the biggest disappointment in terms of multiplayer. It's a lot more fun when you have something to work for (kills for attachments, kills with attachments for more attachments, headshots for camos, kills for titles, etc.) rather than just buying the item you want with the terrible credit system.Aerograt said:I'm not going to get both right now since I'm trying to not spend a ton of money at the moment, but I do eventually plan on getting both. I'm leaning more towards MW2 currently because it's cheaper currently and I've heard it has access to shotguns as secondaries without "that one perk" (the knife loadouts also look kind of neat). However, I also know that it has the Nuke killstreak and no Zombies mode.
So which one should I get first and why?
Hello there. My name's Iwata, I've been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. I like the genre, and hate multiplayer. Pleased to meet you, I'm sure.deth2munkies said:First off: Who the hell plays a FPS for the single player? The only reason to play these games is multiplayer.

Smartest man in the forums...now just follow it up by sticking to co-op and I'll be glad to be your friend.Aerograt said:edit: Not getting either, thanks for your time.
This. I play games either splitscreen, passing the controller around, or on my own. The only reason I have PSN is to get DLC and occasionally message some friends. With that in mind, could anyone recommend a modern FPS that's campaign centred?Iwata said:Hello there. My name's Iwata, I've been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D and Doom.
