Poll: Should I play WOW again

I quit WoW 1 week before WOTLK was released, as a level 56 Human Paladin. I kind of got bored of leveling, but with Cataclysm, I am thinking of playing again, or at least giving it another go for a month. So I have 4 questions.

1. Should I reinstall it and try it?
2. How long will downloading all the patches take?
3. If I do try it again, should I reroll a new character?
4. If I am to reroll a new character, what race and class should I be?

The only EP I own is burning crusade.

They did make leveling a lot easier. You get increased exp when in Outland and Northrend (or maybe just Northrend) that makes leveling about 20% faster, and honestly, the Cataclysm was pretty much an excuse to make the 1-40 content worth playing again. Also, instances are a lot easier (though they went a little overboard on this, imo) until you get to Cata content, and there's a queue system for them now (similar to battleground) which makes getting good gear easier, which in turn makes questing easier, which in turn makes leveling even faster.

Professions are less of an exercise in grinding as well. Don't get me wrong, they're still the most blatant example of a grind in the game, but cloth drops a lot more often, mining is much less painful, and it's broken away from the standard MMO design of "all the content sucks until you get to the level cap"

So, if that sounds like something you're interested in, go for it. If it doesn't... don't. Really it boils down to whether or not you really want to play WoW, the Escapist forums have a rather gigantic army of fan-haters that will make your poll a guaranteed negative.

I think I can control myself, I rarely played more than 5 hours a week, except in the case that I get a ton of free time and have nothing to do, and even then, I would not play it more than two hours a day.
I just cannot play the same game for a long time at once XD.

But in all seriousness, you should come back to WoW. It's gotten a lot better now that Cata has come out (the 1-60 leveling is much more interesting than it was when I hit 60).

I've just opened up my account again after about a year and a half. They've made the game much more enjoyable. Also, flying mounts? It's a wonder we ever did without them.

Hmm... I think that you should do what you want to do and not rely on what other people tell you to do. It's your money/choice to play the game, not ours.

Do what you feel is right. The choice is yours and yours alone.

What class do you think I would enjoy most. I would prefer one that is rather fast to level, but easy to use effectively.
