So there's this girl who I met on a school France trip. She lives about an hour and a half away from me. I like her and we've been texting for months, but I was wondering if I should write her a hand-written letter to tell her how I feel rather than text her. It seems more personal to me, I dunno.

And I would Skype her, but Skype takes up a lot of bandwidth, and with my monthly bandwidth limit, I can't afford to do that.

Do you already have her address? Some people can be a bit funny when giving out their address to people.
Do you know if she likes you too? If she doesn't and you send her a heartfelt letter she might feel a bit uncomfortable with you having her address.

How about arranging to meet up and give her the handwritten letter in person when you leave? Then you get to see her again and let her know how you feel~ if you don't wanna say it to her face.

I do have her address already, and we have admitted to having mutual feelings in the past. Things have just gotten kind of...off track lately.

I do like the idea about giving it to her in person, but I'll probably just tell her face to face if I see her in person.

Write an old-fashioned letter. Not a love letter.

Hi ___, how are you? I thought about you today when _____ reminded me of ______. I was doing ____ and I remembered how much fun we had on the trip. I've spoken to soandso and whomever lately and they're doing just fine. Insert talk about the weather, how things are going, what your summer plans are, and how you've got an open schedule and would love to catch up soon. Stuff like that.

I had a boyfriend who I traded letters with almost weekly for a few years. Mostly they were how my day's going types of things, discussing ideas and memories, etc, but they're still very special.

Maybe develop some photos from the trip and include them in the letter? People love to get pictures, too. Then you can discuss them in the letter as well.

Edit: She'll know you care by the effort you went to. You just ened to say "Miss you, hope to see you soon" as your sign-off. DOn't use the L word at all, or talk about a relationship until she replies.
