Poll: should I?

Ok, after some more difficult in my current high school, and after some talk with my grandparents they told me my uncle would like it if I moved in with him in Oregon. My uncle has A.I.Ds and says I can come up to Oregon to help take care of him while finishing high school. Oh, I will also be able to get a job, and make some money and basically be taking care of myself and my uncle. He is really nice but I'm not so sure if I want to move. One part of me says yes, get out now go some where better, this is a great opportunity. Then there is my friend, I can deal with that but also I would be leaving all of my Family.


So I'm just asking my fellow escapist for a little advice.



EDIT: I live in Californa btw.

EDIT EDIT: My friends, hmm its my last school year and really I never cared for them. I probabley will never see them again. I am worried about leaving my best friend though, one of the few people I actually liked...

OT: I have been to Oregon once, thought it was great if not rainy. What is high school like up there?

Its cool. I have friend who lives up there and loves it but I can't affors to visit him right now.

Oregon is a great place (I'm from Washington my self) and the region in general is beautiful. It would be hard taking care of your uncle while working and finishing school, but at the same time California isn't in that great of shape, and I never much liked it personally (yes it's your home, but still).

Arizona is bottom on the list in terms of US education, just a little tip, and I do mean bottom, its the very last state. Vermont, however, is the best.
