Hey, if your volunteer and put yourself and your family at the top of the list, sure, go right ahead. I would have you use your brothers and sisters, your parents, or your own children, to demonstrate how this culling would work, what methods would you use for murdering them, how you would keep terrified and panicked people under control, how you would explain to them why you are killing them, and what kind of world they are dying for that they will never see, and finally, to see whether the world is a brighter place as a result.
And on that note, tell me, how will you decide who to kill, once you and your family are dead. Will you choose richer nations over poorer nations, from whom will you select your victims? Will you show special treatment to people who are Christian or muslim or buhhdist? What about people of different ethnicities, will you show preferential treatment to any of them? What about people who are disabled, how would you treat them. Would you simply kill every one who isn't 'up to snuff'? What about age, will that be a factor? Will you kill babies, or just wait till they grow up until you end their lives, let them live a doomed existence consuming resources.
And how will you kill them, will you shoot them? Behead them? Gas them or poison them? Eletrocute them? How about just slitting their throats. And what of countries that stand against your little plan, will you bomb them? Nuke them? Or will you just act like the Aztecs, take them over and then sacrifice them. Or maybe you would like to go the Roman route, just let them kill each other for your sadistic pleasure. And what about the bodies when you are done, do you return them to the family, or do you simply dig a pit somewhere and let them rot in unmarked graves, or do you grind them up for fertilizer, or turn them to ash? Tell me, what would you do with the people you butchered and murdered.
Or maybe you haven't put that much thought into this and are just an arrogant child (in mind or body) who is mad at the world and would rather beat his fists against the ground in a desperate bid for attention than get up and do some good.
What is arrogant, good 'sir', is to assume that one life is more important than another, Every single human being should have the right to live, to experience this wonderful, finite existence called life. It is a precious gift, and it is up to each and every one of us to make the most of it. Some do, and some don't. There are problems with our species, we are not the brightest lot, but there is one very important thing that we do have, and that is the ability to change who we are for the better. Killing never solves anything, it is when people try to understand and communicate with one another that true progress is made and our world become a little brighter.
