For those of you who don't know, RailWorks is a train simulation game on Steam. I'm sure you've seen them on the 'Recent Releases' with their DLC.
For one, I have no problem with DLC as long as they add to the game. There have been many great DLC packs released and most are at a reasonable price.
Looking at the RailWorks DLC, most if not all are just extra train models with 1-3 skins. There is one I'm looking at which offers 3 new train sections with a few variations on skins; this doesn't feature any difference to gameplay and is essentially like a new vehicle in another game... How much? £25 ($40) This doesn't include the main game or anything, just the 3 trains, 6 skin variations and 11 'Scenarios' (Just "Get from point A to B" scenarios).
They've released 70 DLC packs/add-ons totalling £701.35 ($1121.74). Yeah, if you want to own the entire game, you're going to have to spend quite a significant amount.
Edit: I for one think they should just lower the price or combine the content to make the price more reasonable.
TL;DR: Should RailWorks stop releasing DLC?
