I actually quite like the idea of visiting the Volus homeworld, with the Volus all skipping around and free, and with Shepherd and crew having to wear chunky suits. Why is that difficult at all?Undead Dragon King said:That, unforutnately, is never going to happen. The Volus CANNOT go outside of their suits in an environment suitable for Humans, Turians, Quarians and Asari. If they do, they will suffocate because they breathe ammonia, their flesh will split open and their blood will boil out of their bodies due to the lowered atmospheric pressure. Quarian immune systems might make open-air environments very hazardous, but they can at least attempt it. Not so with the Volus. The Keeper said:What about the Volus? the point is you still know what they look like. you NEVER get to see tali's face, EVER. everyone else only wears helmets situationally, and you still know what shepard's face looks like from the character creation screen. I do kind of agree that it would hurt the character she is built around, if they do it wrong. like just about everything, it CAN be done right. though, since they have a large corporation involved, those chances get a bit slimmer of them doing it right.Gralian said:What does being a member of the squad have to do with revealing her face and her character? My Shepard wears a helmet that covers the entirety of his face. Does it remove a part of his character when it's removed? What about other party members that wear rebreathers and faceguards in combat situations and hostile environments?Undead Dragon King said:I'm not the biggest Tali fan, but she is a member of the squad. it is probably because they are fat, they play minor roles at best, and the ones you do meet tend to be greedy assholes. makes you not really care much about them or what they look like since you never really get to know one.EvilPicnic said:I actually quite like the idea of visiting the Volus homeworld, with the Volus all skipping around and free, and with Shepherd and crew having to wear chunky suits. I count this as second time in past 7 days. It's not even coming out this year for heavens sake.Legion said:I swear this topic comes up once a month.
