We all know they crossed the line with that little incident (for those of you don't know, they poked fun at a kid's cancer foundation - and for those of you living under a rock, the Chasers War on Everything is an Australian satirist comedy show), but they're the Chasers, they've poked fun at old people, Polish people, World War Two and nobody ever cared then. Personally, I've love to see them back (I think they may be returning soon actually, but that may be a rumour). Yes We Canberra was just simply awesome - what do you Escapists think?

It was one of the few reasons I had to watch TV, so I would love for them to come back. Also, I saw them live before they went off the air :D

I'd love to see them come back, I didn't think there was anything wrong with the cancer foundation sketch (Considering the fact that 90% of the funding for childrens charities goes to wages and merchandise).

I heard that too, about the election. About time - hope Gillard wins. Hate to turn the subject to politics, but Tony Rabbit is a nutter.

Absolutely!

The 'make-a-realistic-wish' foundation sketch fiasco was blown out of proportion - they do satirical comedy, you can't enjoy it for two seasons and then demand it taken off the air when a single 2 minute sketch offends you.

Suck it up, princess.;

Hell yes. I can see why people were so pissed off about the Make-A-Wish Foundation thing, but I still reckon they overreacted. The Chaser boys are hilarious with what they do, and they're honest too. Also, they are awesome. Stop being so goddamn sensitive, Australia.

No, they are too famous now so everyone expects that they are gonna do something.

And they will never be forgiven for "Yes We Canberra". That show was almost as weak as commercial TV political satire.

Hell, I loved it and I'm not even Australian :D

It takes a special quality of comedians to make one enjoy satire of people that you've never even heard of, but they somehow managed it.

Yes, for the way they pretty much mock the celebs and current affair shows.

But its a shame that their popularity has made it difficult for the shock segments to work anymore.

Yes, they see the Chasers coming and run for the hills.

I don't think they did cross the line. Comedy shouldn't have a line.

If you are offended by it, don't watch it. If enough people think they crossed their own imaginary line they drew in their minds - Then the show will be pulled because of ratings. It's not up to the minorities who cried blood, or the media who barely knows what journalism is anymore, to be our moral compass.

I think bring them back, especially if there is a liberal minority government, Abbot will have so many gaffs he will pretty much write all the jokes for them.

Hell yes. Just not in the same style as with The War on Everything, i think they have warn that format to the ground.

Perhaps if they took over Media Watch and made it interesting...

I forgot how much I really missed the Chasers when I started to watch "Yes we Can-berra"

I would love them to start again, I bet that it was ABC's highest rated show when they started back up again.

It's probably one of my favourite shows on TV.
And the recent "Yes We Canberra" showed they could still be incredibly funny, and even a little original.
I'd love to see them return (again).

CNNNN and the war on everything were fantastic, along with all the election run downs. I think they might of hit their limit though. Not quite as good as they used to be.

I would like for them to return, but only when they've come up with some great sketches.

Yes We Canberra was good, but not the greatest I've seen of them.

I think they've been on the decline, and probably ended at a good time before they became stale and overly annoying.

Personally I reckon they should come back on special (at least politically) occasions like elections and Christmas. Like they did with Yes We Canberra. That way they stay fresh, and we still get an occasional dose.
