Poll: Should we nuke the whales?

Simply should we, I think there are some in favour here on the escapist. And some not. Me I dont think we should because then we would be nuking sharks, and they eat people! And I dont like people

No, why? It makes no sense. They are useful for meat as well as perfume and they don't really bother anybody. And the fallout would be harmful to everybody.
I'm not particularily sticking up for animal rights, but this idea is just senseless and stupid (as it's meant to be, since it stems from The Simpsons).

Yes, we must nuke the whales. Every time a whale ejaculates, 400 gallons of their semen is released into the water. A whales semen contains many deadly chemicals which kills all the fish around the whale. That is why we must nuke those blue bastards!

Why don't people like whales? I like whales. Either they're like your big mate who get's wasted and starts dancing awkwardly around (eg blues, humpbacks), or they're your big mate who gets drunk and wipes out anyone who looks at them wrong (eg. Orcas). And you should never nuke a mate.

Just because the word is English does not mean you used it in the correct way.
I could reply by saying "Orange orchestra gerbil flying" The words are English but they have no meaning if used incorrectly. You chose to use geek lingo saying someone fails instead of saying they are mistaken or incorrect. So therefore you "fail" the English language.

if we nuked the whales, we would lose alot of good resorces that are used in every day products, better to just give the japanese a map of the local whale sighting locations, the whales get out of the way of our daily lives and we have some useful resorces we will waste in a day

I voted yes, but im having a crisis of conscience. Does this tactical strike also target any badass, steampunk styled whale robots, like I recall seeing in some bioshock 2 fanart? because I couldn't bring myself to nuke anything so awesome (and it would probably only make them/it angrier).

Oh hell yes. Whales fuckin' scare me man. Between that creepy noise and their immense size, if I was swimming and saw a blue whale coming towards me I would definitely shit myself.
