Poll: SimCity 4 Sequel

With the upcoming release of The Sims 3, Will Wright and his studio will need to start a new big project, and personally I miss a PROPER SimCity sequel, that isn't outsourced to, say, Tilted Mill. Although I like SimCity 4, and still play it from time to time, graphics as well as processing power and memory has come a long way since its release, giving Maxis a lot of things they could work on.

So basically my question is, am I the only one who misses an up-to-date version of SimCity, which isn't worthless (like Societies was)?

Nah, I never really liked the Sim City games anyways.

What is there left to do with the games? Eh, I just don't see the need.. 4 was pretty much perfect.

But it still had some issues. For instance, I miss the ability to create streets that aren't ordered in boxes (not every city is as well planned as New York), and it would be awesome to see a city that really WAS living. Where pedestrians walk the streets as they would normally, and don't just dissappear (along with cars). I see a lot of things they could make better with today's technology.
