Poll: Simcity : Your Population

I was thinking about Simcity 4 (this poll is specifically related to simcity 4, please post if it is another game!) and I wondered whether or not anyone else was as awesome as me *smug grin*
Anyway, Simcity is like my favourite game. I got 1,000,000 population on my 56th city...I don't think anyone else is up to 227 cities across 5 games...

OT: I don't own any SimCity games, but I can guarantee that if I did the population would be very low, as I'd spend most of my time doing what I do in other Sims games which is watching them all die.

In Simcity...3000? Whatever, in that game, my little Sims usually died. Or left. And if it all went well I'd summon aliens and maybe a few tornadoes to fuck their shit up.

In Simcity 4 I just loaded pre-made cities and sent disasters across them. The robot was awesome.

I used to make gigantic cities that spanned the entirety of the usable area, even going so far as to fill in and level most of the map. With the arco's in 2000 I regularly got over 1,000,000 in a city. I also always named the cities Oldville and destroyed them or simply destroyed all the police stations and watched the city destroy itself. Admittedly the second option was only cool with the speed raised significantly and imagining all the run down buildings as crack dens, and the place looking like some post apocalyptic wasteland.

I used to have a copy of SimCity for my Super Nintendo. I don't remember getting past that first level of civilization (Village/Town/Hovel/Jerkwater Burg). It wasn't that I sucked at the game or anything, I just found that it was far too much fun to hit every disaster button at once.

In SimCity 3000, my current (and the only succesful) city's population is about 600 000.

Sims in SimCity games don't die, they're inconvenienced. Then they move away.
