What you rather be, the lonely single person, or the lonely person who plays online. OR do you like a bit of both if you know what I mean.

I like to play both. Prefering to play with my friends on some games and on my own with others. Depends on the game really doesnt it?

But yes Id say Id prefer single player as they're usually story driven (the ones I like anyway) and dont have people shooting you in the back of the head every five seconds. Well apart from if your on some sort of Nightmare Mode.

I don't really understand the question... but I like single player games more, since most of my friends (female) freak out when they realise they have to shoot things XP.
I have done online gaming, but it's a bit weird for me not being able to see the other people.

i tend to go for games that have an awesome single player campaign but if has a multiplayer option it's a bonus

I want to be able to play alone but on the same time have people join me in a instant, like in MMOs.

So I'll have to say both.

I like playing with my best friend or roomate. Otherwise I'd rather just play alone than with anyone else.

Not fan of MMO's so I'm fan of singleplayer campaign. I do sometimes play COD4 MP but still games with massive singelplayer rule.

it depends on the game i guess, if Infamous had multi-player for example i'd still only really do the single player but if its call of duty im more multiplayer.

single player has a better story and stuff.
but multiplayer has oponents and allys that dont run into walls and shoot at butterflys
so a bit of aa mix

It depends. If I'm alone, normally singleplayer, but if I'm playing a multiplayer mode (I.E, Horde of GoW2) I'll either get a friend round, or play online.

Single player. The concept of 'lag' can't strike me in most games there. I had a night where no matter what i did, the bullets would not register a hit on CoD4.

I get bored easily with multi-player. It's basically the same match over and over and over. Single-player might also be the same game everytime you start it, but atleast that has a narrative and enjoyable characters.

I like single-player. Local-multiplayer is alright, as you can play with buddies in the same room. Games that rely on their multiplayer being tied to online-ness suck, as what happens to the game when the online goes away?

i am over-competitive. unless the single player has a really immersive storyline, i get bored of it pretty quickly.

however, i do require my opponents to have a certain level of maturity. otherwise it's no fun.

Single player. I really can't stand multi player for lots of various reasons, most of them involving other people.
