I'm quite sure I would be a Jedi... The sith which is portrayed in the KOTOR games is just too evil for me.
Actually, in the Star Wars history and mythos, both the Sith and the Jedi end up destroying themselves when one side is chosen through the Force to rule the galaxy once again (there is no definitive "winning" or "losing" when it comes to the Jedi and the Sith, only the moment when their time is up having the upper hand, and the other usurps their control). Just the means of their self-destruction is different in the end (Jedi stagnate in terms of teachings and tradition and become too complacent with inaction, Sith end up killing themselves in battle/power lust and/or become stagnant in teachings and tradition).Sniper Team 4 said:Jedi under Luke Skywalker's supervision. Yeah, I mean that Sith literally destroy themselves. I would not be able to live my life constantly watching my own back, wondering if the person I'm fighting with will suddenly kill me. I know that there's always a balancing of the powers, but Jedi have an "easier" way to follow.ShadowsofHope said:Actually, in the Star Wars history and mythos, both the Sith and the Jedi end up destroying themselves when one side is chosen through the Force to rule the galaxy once again (there is no definitive "winning" or "losing" when it comes to the Jedi and the Sith, only the moment when their time is up having the upper hand, and the other usurps their control). kind of like that guy from the jedi knight games the light saber and force is just for the added bonus he is a good guy and uses what he wants to be that good guy in my opinion still the best star wars gamesSovvolf said:I'd rather be neither. Just have my force powers, skill with the lightsaber and go about it how I feel. I'd probably be more on the lightside because I don't feel the need to be a dick to everyone but I'd probably wouldn't be following their rules to a tee. You know the whole "Don't get angry, don't breed, don't love, don't have any emotion what so ever" type thing... Yeah, not happening.
all lightsabers are double edged do you mean double sided?godfist88 said:I'm going Sith, that way i get one of cool double edged lightsabers.
i think its more of a way to be chaotic neutral which is how i would be i dont like the jedi way of thinking i mean if you imbrace all of your emotions and surpress none your more likely to master yourself then if you have to surpress love hate and anger.(and sith surpress their light side so dont tell me thats a sith)Toriver said:And that's where the dark side gets you. When you think you can handle it. Those Sith-like powers always come at a higher price than any Jedi pays for their powers in the end. And there are different types of "aggression". A Jedi can certainly be aggressive without resorting to dark side tactics. So I just go straight-up Jedi.Asmundr said:This.TheDarkEricDraven said:Gray Jedi. All the fun of force lighting without the guilt and no "No fucking" rule.
I'm pretty sure I can be aggressive and Sith-ish without the who drunk on power thing.
Plus, the whole Gray Jedi thing just sounds like an attempt by some fan to have their cake and eat it, too, and I say it then misses the entire point of the light/dark dichotomy so central to the mythos. It just ruins the concept. Go Gray? No way, Jose.
