Poll: Skins (TV Series)

Hoorah! skins is back with series 3 and a whole bunch of characters which poses the question, which ones did it better?

I personally like the new characters better, more specifically i like Emily the most, closely followed by Freddie.

Sid and maxie was my faves in the old series but i think he just doesn't compare to what we have in series 3.

(yes i know this is rather late but i was kind of expecting one to pop up so i didn'r bother)
(and also if anyone wanted to know series 4 has been confirmed)

For those of you who have no idea what i'm talking about, skins is a British teen comedic drama set in Bristol. It contains a lot of drugs, sex and alcohol and is probably my fave show at the moment, yes it even beats scrubs.

(if your interested series 3 is a whole new set of characters so you can start watching there rather than begining of series 1, it wont make a differance.)

I have been watching the new series and getting realy into it and although you cannot help but love thomas they do notquite match up to charecters like Sid from the first two series'. The show is still of extremely high standard especially compared to most thing on TV at the moment.

I prefer the first and second series' cast.

The new series is entertaining, but not as engrossing as the previous. Chris and the sid/tony dynamic made the first two really funny, and though the 3rd is entertaining I don't reckon it's as good.

It's still a darn sight better than anything else on TV at the moment, and is still quite a good programme - just not *as* good as the older one IMO.

It's an English teen drama.

Think the O.C but with Chavs and Scott Mills (google him) and you're not far off, yes it's every bit as awful as it sounds.

I thought the new series was terrible. the plot lines are laughable and the characters were ridiculous. so i voted for the first series. Effies fit though.

I've only just recently gotten into Skins. I used to right out hate it but something drew me in about the new characters. I had to get into it at some point though as it's filmed and based where I live I have a few friends who have been on it as extras and miner parts.

i much preferred the old cast... JJ and emily are my favourite characters from the new series and are wel thought out intelligent ones at that but cook *shudders* just irritates me (he's all the bad things about tony and all the bad things about chris with none of their good points) so much i can barely bare to watch it... all that's really happening now is they're milking it....
