I only skip if I've seen them before. Like when I'm playing the game for a second time or when I realized that I've totally screwed my self in an adventure game and have to start over or when my OCD kicks in.

On my first playthrough of any game, i hav to watch them. I just must. My second time around, unless its really good, i wont. Ex. If I play something like Ninja Gaiden or something then I will skip it because ive seen it all and im not really interested enough to watch them. But if i play something like Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 then I will watch them because their interesting and fun, plus its a great game. An exception to this rule tho, is if I play MGS4 again then, as much as I love the game, I will probably skip most of the cutscenes. They are long and confusing at times. And ive seen them all once. Ill get bored and want to play the game. :p

I remember seeing my friend skip about 3 cutscenes in MGS twin snakes when I lent it to him, and I said you might as well not play it if you are gunna skip the bloody cutscenes.

Never. I need a bit of story in my games, no matter how bad some are.

It annoys me when my brother and friends skip cutscenes/dialogue or don't pay attention because eventually they will be asking me what is going on...

i totally agree with u :D
It's especially annoying when they are playing on one of your own games and skip a one time only dialogue section or cutsccene

it;s also ridiculously annoying when you've beaten a game and all you wanna do is just replay the campaign and it wont let you skip the cut scenes you've already seen.

Yes, I know what you mean. It's happened many times to me, most notably with Resident Evil and Metal Gear. I loaded from a previous save and played through whole sections again 'coz I missed cutscenes.

Yeah I agree with you as well. We should at least be given the option to skip.

I skipped every cutscene in Bio-Shock except the intro and possibly the second. This was my first time through as well.

EDIT: I caved, no mods helped.

The only cut scenes i didn,t skip on KOTOR were the ones that had HK-47 speaking in them. Some really funny quotes.

what i liked about bioshock was the way people talked to you over the "radio" and you got to keep shooting splicerswhile listening to the dialogue

Same for me, I love me some Mass Effect cutscenes, like
on Feros when Fai Dan shoots himself, or when Saren does the same.
That's really the only game where I won't skip cutscened I've already seen though.

I never skip cutscenes, I like to be fully engrossed in a game and part of that experiance is watching cutscenes that are integral to the plot and whatnot.

The only time i've recently skipped a cutscene was in GTA IV (and that was because I was going for the achievement where you beat the game in 30 hours) I'll probably watch them though in my 3rd playthrough

When I'm bored of being delayed again and again and again, I start smacking space bar, escape, enter, left control, mouse buttons... while going "Blaaaaa blaaa blaaaaa blaaaa blaaaaaa!!"

..

Yep.
I have a tendency for that in half-life2. When I found out no one responded to you smashing clock radios towards their head with the gravity gun, every npc seems long winded.
