i totally agree with uJayCro said:Never. I need a bit of story in my games, no matter how bad some are.
It annoys me when my brother and friends skip cutscenes/dialogue or don't pay attention because eventually they will be asking me what is going on...
Yes, I know what you mean. It's happened many times to me, most notably with Resident Evil and Metal Gear. I loaded from a previous save and played through whole sections again 'coz I missed cutscenes.chazmizta said:i totally agree with uJayCro said:Never. It's especially annoying when they are playing on one of your own games and skip a one time only dialogue section or cutsccene
Yeah I agree with you as well. We should at least be given the option to skip.ZombieFace said:it;s also ridiculously annoying when you've beaten a game and all you wanna do is just replay the campaign and it wont let you skip the cut scenes you've already seen.
Exactly I mean have ALL the cut scenes you want but at least give teh OPTION to skip. then everyone is happy.JayCro said:Yeah I agree with you as well. Same for me, I love me some Mass Effect cutscenes, likeLil_Hank93 said:On my first playthrough of any game, i hav to watch them. I just must. My second time around, unless its really good, i wont. Ex. If I play something like Ninja Gaiden or something then I will skip it because ive seen it all and im not really interested enough to watch them. But if i play something like Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 then I will watch them because their interesting and fun, plus its a great game. An exception to this rule tho, is if I play MGS4 again then, as much as I love the game, I will probably skip most of the cutscenes. They are long and confusing at times. And ive seen them all once. Ill get bored and want to play the game.![]()
You can always appreciate a game like that. :]orannis62 said:Same for me, I love me some Mass Effect cutscenes, likeLil_Hank93 said:On my first playthrough of any game, i hav to watch them. That's really the only game where I won't skip cutscened I've already seen though.on Feros when Fai Dan shoots himself, or when Saren does the same.
I have a tendency for that in half-life2. When I found out no one responded to you smashing clock radios towards their head with the gravity gun, every npc seems long winded.Mariena said:When I'm bored of being delayed again and again and again, I start smacking space bar, escape, enter, left control, mouse buttons... while going "Blaaaaa blaaa blaaaaa blaaaa blaaaaaa!!"

Yep.
