Slow. Definitely slow.

You see, movies and video games aren't scary. They just aren't, at least to me. Horror can be creepy, atmospheric, disturbing, gross or startling, but it's never scary. I personally like creepy, atmospheric and disturbing, while I'm not a fan of gross or startling. Slow zombies are better at creepy and atmospheric, while out of the things that horror can actually do fast zombies are only better at startling. Which is lame. (They're both about equal at disturbing and gross, depending on the particular incarnation of course.)

I mean sure, in real life fast zombies would scare the shit out of me even more than slow ones, but in a movie or video game? Fast zombies suck. Give me slow zombies any day of the week.
