It was platforming, but with stealth.
And not just stealth, GOOD STEALTH.
Also, that cane.
Wow nostalgia.

i love all 3 of those.. own all the games i could find . 3 jaks 3 ratchets and 2 slys ... i want more =( . platformers and adventure games are like dead now or something only fps/rts and rpg's .FoolKiller said:Frankly, this isn't a fair comparison.
Crash showed up as a mascot for the PlayStation. Sly Cooper showed up as just a great game for the Playstation 2.
Personally, the comparison I have always asked was what they preferred:
Jak & Daxter
Ratchet & Clank
Sly Cooper
or a combination of sorts. Personally (and unscientifically) I have found that Jak stands alone, but that people who like Ratchet tend to not like Sly and vice versa. I am in that category. I liked the Jak series and loved Sly Cooper but found all the Ratchet games irritating.
Really? Have to give that a try.Leoano said:Kind of funny that you say that because in Ratchet and Clank 3 for the Ps2 in the openingKursura said:Torches and pitchforks sounds rather serious to me.Roofstone said:Sucker Punch has added "Sly 4" easter eggs in Infamous game.

On a serious note, I once did send an email asking about exactly that, Sly 4.
The answerI got (I actually got an answer surpsisingly): "Maybe".
..never been so pissed.![]()
Poor attempt to be funny aside, I've heard of both, but know next to nothing about the Sly series. It looked like a Jak and Dex or Ratchet and clank kind of game, R&C being the only series I've played.
menu before you press start if you press down all the trigger buttons you get a demo for Sly2
The same is reversed in Sly 2

i was gonna ask that...when the playstation came out i was one of the launch titles wasn't it?...thats just sad...
and sly cooper...heard abt them but never played them...i know sly 3 was a big deal when it came out tho...
Weren't there three Slys? And avoid the fourth Jak on PS2. It wasn't made by the group that made the original trilogy and thus it sucks.phoenix352 said:i love all 3 of those.. own all the games i could find . 3 jaks 3 ratchets and 2 slys ... i want more =( . platformers and adventure games are like dead now or something only fps/rts and rpg's .FoolKiller said:Frankly, this isn't a fair comparison.

I think there were three, yes, though I've only played the first one. For Jak 4, do you mean Jak Combat Racing, or Lost Frontier? I haven't played either of those.FoolKiller said:...

yes there are 3 in total but i could only find 2 and 3 on sale .. so i never played part 1 and by jak 4 you mean jak X ... with racing ... i thought it looked weird.FoolKiller said:Weren't there three Slys? A "Sly 4" easter egg? I noticed the little logo of Sly's face on Cole's back pack and the trophy "You're so Sly" for collecting all the Dead Drops in the Historic District. but I wouldn't call them hint of Sly 4 (Unless I missed something else too.) InFamous also used alot of Sly skill set to get around like spire jump and rail sliding which I loved.Roofstone said:Sucker Punch has added "Sly 4" easter eggs in Infamous game.

Nah. Although it did add to the story, albeit, weirdly. I meant The Lost Frontier. It came out last year and was developed by a different company.phoenix352 said:yes there are 3 in total but i could only find 2 and 3 on sale .. so i never played part 1 and by jak 4 you mean jak X ... with racing ... i thought it looked weird.FoolKiller said:Weren't there three Slys? You can edit that in. Edit your opening post - you can change thread's title and poll from there.Roofstone said:Was suposed to be a nope poll, but i managed to missclick, so it isnt there.
