The abilities work well, though the amount of energy your suit have doesn't appear to change at all on the various difficulties, which is too bad for when you just want to goof around. The combat itself is relatively boring, more so because there was so much hype around how they claimed it would be a new and unique experience. I've played games with much more unique and interesting combat than this game. The AI is at times amazingly thick, some stages of the game are a massive bore, the maps look pretty decent if you can run it on OK settings and overall the story is average.
All in all it's a game worth spending your time on, but nothing more. It's a decent way to burn a little time if you have nothing else to do. Personally it took me 4 separate sessions to get trough the campaign, as you will crave for a break after a while. It's simply not as engaging as I had expected.
Multi-player? Nothing we haven't seen before, and all the acclaimed "tactics" are extremely easily countered so that it becomes a very standard shooter anyway (HINT: just do a quick "on-off" with your nano-vision when you enter a room/area and you'll instantly know if someone is cloaked there or not... Do this frequently enough and you'll never be caught unaware. I know I haven't).
Score 6/10...
