The fact that people are still taking these accusations seriously confounds me.
Is it offensive? Yes, but at the same time the only way to defeat politics (which is precisely what this story is about; stirring the shit-pot for political attention) of this nature is to ignore it.
The only response that was necessary was a calm statement of the obvious; no, we aren't rapists, yes your study is unilateral and heavily bias (especially in light of evidence that rape is on the DECLINE, yet you won't see me linking that trend to gamers, because even as a positive it makes no sense) and your statements should be relegated as little more than the political-pseudo-science it is.

Great idea for a thread, but we've already been over this. Everybody else sucks, and we're awesome. Of course they're gonna start spreading silly rumors. Just ignore them until they go away and buy the games they complain about just to show them up.
