Well, my dad had a sega and I used to play that when i was about 2-4 and I watched him play games on his computer, like unreal tournament 1 :). I then got a ps1 and played on that all the time, then an original xbox, then a 360. I've had a few handhelds at some points too, and I've had a decent pc all the way through because each time my dad upgraded his I got his old parts, yey ^^. So yeah i've basically grown up around them

I remember me and my siblings recieved our first gaming console, the original Playstation, on a fateful Christmas day. I remember we didn't even recieve memory cards with it the first week or so, therefore we could never get that far into the game. Nevertheless, being young excitable children it didn't matter, and nor did it matter that a majority of our games were cheap and crappy movie-based games like Harry Potter or The Rugrats. Later on we discovered gems like Spyro the Dragon and the original Rayman and I never looked back. I have owned pretty much all Sony gaming systems to date, simply due to those nostalgic memories created by the start-up jingle and symbol...

Oddly I had no interest in gaming but I just drew all the time. My parents then decided I needed a form of entertainment and bought me a SNES with a bunch of games. Ooo mama...

My first PC was a 486, and the first GPU I owned was 3dfx Voodoo card.

I was browsing through Norton Commander and it was almost outrageous that there were games coming out that needed to be on two floppy disks.

Hard to say for sure, I think I really started getting into games after Half-life 2, though I did spend a good amount of time playing Tekken, Fighting Force and Crash Bandicoot before that.
I played the Atari occasionally but I wouldn't say that got me into gaming.

My parents got Nintendo consoles for my brother, from the NES when I was probably 3 through the N64. Added to that my dad used to play PC games. In short I had a pretty strong foundation for gaming which I've just continued to build upon now that I'm an adult.

My dad came back from working in Germany with this thing called a Mega Drive... thought I'd give it a go. And here I am today! We only had Sonic and Ecco, but a few weeks/months later we had all the classics like Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Kid Chameleon, etc etc.

The first video game I played has been lost to time. It was either a game called Alley Cat, Bouncing Babies or Castle though I know not which specifically.

The first game that I played on a console was Golf for the NES. The first one I played and enjoyed was Super Mario Brothers. The game that made me into a gamer was probably Captain Skyhawk for the NES, which I got for Christmas 1990.

Born in 95, played N64 since I was 3 (ocarina oftime was my first game) and have been dedicated to them since, they are mt number 1 source of entertainment and I don't expect that to ever change.

Avid PC gamer - first PC I played on was a Commodore64, which I replaced with a "real" PC running an Intel 186 CPU rated at only 10mHz a few years later. All I can say is that its been interesting being able to watch both hardware and games develop over the last 20+ years.

I had a Sega but didn't play all that much.

Then I had an eye infection of some sort, went to hospital, got antibiotics, went into the child's ward and cam face to face with HER-CU-LES! And then I played a lot of Sega. And then my birthday rolled around and I got a PlayStation!!! XD
