I've nearly finished the single player campaign in Uncharted 2...pretty darn good. I would/did get that.
I also bought it this weekend. I loved Uncharted - 2.5 times in 3 weeks liked it. I'm saving the sequel until I've finished Fallout3 but I am well lookinh forward to more of those good times.

OP: If you've played Uncharted you know the decision is made. If not pick up both of them - Should be able to 50 Euro.

Pre-order Dragon Age Origins. I haven't played it yet (obviously, but it seems like it will be your money's worth.

I would say Brutal Legend only because it is the newest of the bunch, I've heard that it is very good and should make for a unique gameplay experience. I would highly recommend Fallout 3 GoTYE also.

...and want to buy one game. Which of the choices above do you think is the best value for money? They all seem like awesome games and I am having trouble deciding. I need something that will last me at least a week of 4 hour daily sessions. Not interested in online play. On Fallout Goty, I have completed the main game but played none of the DLC's. Thanks!
You did say you are not interested in online play, but if you love cool loot then get Borderlands. Just make sure a few of your friends get it as well and then you can play together (or join the Borderlands Escapist group *wink wink nudge nudge*). I wouldn't get Fallout 3 GOTY if you already have played the full game since the DLC adds nothing of real value.

Fallout 3 GOTY is the best value for money by a long shot, as you get 4 pieces of dlc with it for the normal price of a game
you do realise 4 DLC packs is not worth a whole game, compare how much content is in the standard game, way more than in all the DLCs. DLC is way overpriced normally only worth buying if your REALLY into a game.

its anoying how most people don't realise DLC is mostly a con. don't think i've ever even bought any just get it for free on many PC version or wait for complete editions, NEVER worth buying separately unless you really are a finatic.

althought this is from someone who rarely buys games on release so...

Well, I have 60 bucks, and am getting Uncharted 2 after x-play's review. Seriously, he said it was the BEST single player game he had ever played. And he's been playing since the 80's. I can (hopefully) trust Adam on this one.

Well lets add it up shall we Fallout 3 is a full game plus 4 DLC at about £10 each is about £80 in my eyes so yes it is worth the money

If you've already completed Fallout 3 theres not much point in getting GotY; Point Lookout and Broken Steel are the only ones worth having.

Brutal Legend and Batman are both brilliant but neither of them will keep you playing for more than a few days each. I got them both on the 17th (my birthday) and I've complete Brutal Legend and have nearly completed Arkham Asylum in that time (about 10 hours each I'd say).

No idea about Uncharted 2. I've heard good things about it though.

All I can really say is don't buy GotY. It may not be a huge time investment but Brutal Legend may keep you going for a week, if you stretch it out a little, find every secret or you get into the multiplayer. Plus it's fucking awesome!
