Poll: So, let's vent about Youtube a bit.

Another random problem I get every so often is where a video will suddenly stop playing in the middle of the video, and start all over again from the beginning all by itself.
And then it won't track ahead to the part of the video I was just watching. And sometimes it decides to rub it in and play me another ad.

also sometimes it'll stop working on 1080p and go to where even watching on 240p it'll barely buffer

I wish the comments section was like The Escapist forums. No thumbs-upping/downing comments, people involved in arguments would be suspended from commenting on any videos for a month, spammers get IP banned.

No shitting? I thought it was just me. But I've got another one for you. Often when it WOULD play the ad, it instead skips the video ahead to the very end & you have to restart & wait for it to buffer so you can find your place again.

Well when I'm getting recommendations on channels like TobyGames, PewdiePie, Smosh, Onision and so many other steaming piles of shit, I'm pretty confident YouTube doesn't have its priorities in order.

Swear to gawd Youtube auto-subscribed me to those very people. PewpiePie...It's almost like he's trying to be the Fred Figglehorn of gamers, & nobody needs that. Sometimes go through my subscriptions & think "who the hell are these people?"

Another annoyance is that lately, Youtube videos crash the browser on my tablet.

The ads killed it for me. Now every 10 second video has a 15 second ad. What was wrong with the banner ads?

The thing I really hate about YouTube right now is the recent re-redesign of the front page. Before it would show me all the latest updates from my subscriptions, which was fine. Okay, they chucked in a few recommendations in there, but I could filter those out pretty effectively when skimming the page.

Now the front page only shows me 'popular videos' from my subscriptions... which seems pretty counter-intuitive to me. I mean, if I've subscribed to a channel, then chances are I've already seen its most popular videos, right? They don't even give me a filter or preferences option for the front page. Not sure what can be done about it...
