No. It's not even a difficult choice. I suppose money just doesn't really matter that much to me.

No way. I'd rather not have the guilty conscience...plus I'm a pacifist, I don't do stuff like that. Plus I'd go a step further and destroy the button. Who's to say the next person to press it won't kill you?

No way. What if it killed one of my friends or someone really awesome or a really nice dude. The chance it would kill a no-good scumbag is equal yes, but I still would not take that chance.

well there's at least 6 billion people in the world, I know a maximum of 200 people. Mathematically it would seem like a easy choice but I'd ask my friends the same question, take a tally then press/not press accordingly

This story has been done many times. one version was that the next person to get the box kills the last person to obtain there money. The money is never spent, and it continues to cycle with the last person dying.

No, because I'm a random person and I don't want to die. What do all you people who would press it have against me?

But seriously, I wouldn't because a million dollars isn't worth me randomly killing someone.

I would probably press the button. Everyone has a price and It's generally lower than they'd like to admit. I do not know if I would in fact commit murder for a million dollars because no one has ever offered me such a sum for any task.

I'm pretty sure in the trailer Frank Langella says "A random person, somewhere in the world, whom you don't know will die." A person somewhere, whom I don't know? Hell yes I'd press it. I've got a baby girl coming in February and I don't particularly like people (no offense to all you people. Apparently there are a lot of cynical bastards on these boards.)

With this question being so repetitive, I'd like to see it turned on its head. Would you save someone with a history of violence if you got the money?

Gankutsuo had a good version:

Three men are about to be executed. One man claims innocence. The second claims he was justified. The third admits the deed, boasts of the deed, and unremorsefully swears to do it again if it given a chance.

You have an official pardon that will save one of the men at random. You can't keep it, and you must use it now or never. Will you use it to save one of the random men?
