And can't be out of my family? That's about 1/7000000000 chance I would ever meet that person. And that's if we all lived in the same country. So the chance is about 25 times smaller (5 inhabited continents except for Europe ^2, because just 5 times smaller would be illogical, as I will never visit all of those continents).

I think it matters on what you do with it.

But the problem with that is that you're setting yourself up as a reasonable judge of the worth of a human life; maybe even worse, you're claiming that you have the right to make the decision for someone else whether they're going to sacrifice their own life for the greater good. Who are you to make that decision for someone else, complete stranger or otherwise? Plus, what if the person you kill is a pedophile who also happens to be on the verge of discovering a cure for cancer? So you killed one "evil" person to save hundreds, but that person could have saved millions.* Christ, I'd go insane trying to wrap my head around that, to say nothing of the fact that I don't think you can put a dollar value on a human life no matter what the circumstances are.Mrsnugglesworth said:

BTW this looks like the dumbest movie ever, just a tip studios, slightly intriguing "nature of mankind" scenarios do NOT make good full length movies, remember how bad that movie with the "killwithme" website was? (can't remember the name)
anyway, I would not push it, I wouldn't be able to live with myself
plus, 1 million isn't nearly as much money as it used to be, I would however do it for 10 million, because properly applied, you could save a hell of a lot more lives than 1 for the cost of one man's life

You are right that we cannot judge the worth of relative lives, which is why I would not do it for 1 million, because (1 million not being as much money as it used to be) I could save maybe 20 lives, and who knows, that 1 guy might have saved more, BUT if it was around 10 million, I would do it, because I could be reasonably sure that I would have made a positive difference if I properly applied the moneydantheman931 said:
