This may be off topic, but its about a game character and about a game series so i thought it should go here. If I'm wrong, please move it.
Anyway, I was looking at the new pokemon gym leaders (yes pokemon, i know), but I was looking at Aloe the gym leader, and I thought she was going to need some alterations before she hits the states. She reminds me of the Jynx scenario that happened in the early seasons of Pokemon.
Anyone else think/notice this? Or have opinions? Or am i just thinking about this too much? I'm not saying they should completely change her, its kinda refreshing having a black gym leader that you can kinda know she is without a doubt (especially since I've heard that Kamitsure may be a lesbian, nothing wrong with that), but... I don't know. I don't want to come off as racist.
EDIT: I feel I should say what happened with the Jynx scenario. In one episode, they had a plot where Jynx would play a HUGE central part in the episode (kinda like the pokemon of the episode kinda deal). The Episode's plot can be found here:

Basically people in America were worried it would portray African American decent people in a negatively stereotypical way. So the episode was banned from appearing stateside but i think aired in Japan.
