Poll: Space cadeting do you do it?

I was sitting in chemistry today when I noticed that 30mins had passed and I hadn't taken in a single word the teacher had said. I had watched everything he had done and even written some notes but had paid absolutely no attention. Me and my friends call this space cadeting* (It's not an original name but I forget where it's from). How often dose this happen to you?

*Space cadeting is the term given to the activity of appearing to pay attention whilst actually not. Hence I was space cadeting when sitting in class staring at the teacher, occasional nodding but thinking about Fallout3.

Every day. I do that in pretty much all my classes.
And today i was thinking about Fallout 3 as well, since i just beat the game i was praying my second save file was just a little behind my main one so i could do the other quests.


I normally whip out my ipod touch and play games when im not paying attention, or my phone

I do this alot in my comp. lit. class. I dont miss much because my teacher rambles about her grandkids most of the time. I still ace everything thrown at me (stupid graduation requirements). I have to focus in my other classes though.

Yep, school. All the time. Unfortunately it's the best option I'm given when under the torturous conditions I'm subjected to un high school.
