If anyone hasn't noticed, I do Vlogs. Check 'em out.

Spacerpg Vlog I
http://blip.tv/file/3038729
(Working on putting video on page. Please be patient.)
Spacerpg kicks off his new show with reviews of Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, and Point/Counterpoints of Scribblenauts and Where The Wild Things Are vs. Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Spacerpg Vlog II
http://blip.tv/file/3063234
(Working on putting video on page. Please be patient.)
Spacerpg discusess Sherlock Holmes, tells you what you need to see in 2010, and the amateurs ramble on about The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Okay, so it's mostly movie reviews, but there are also game reviews stuck in there!

That advertismentlicious!

Yup

Th proper way to do this is to post it on the Escapist, and link you 'Vlog' at the End.
Well, technically it's not a Vlog, more of a buncha reviews.
And if I had done what you said, would you actually have seen it?

I'm checking it out now.

You could just post

And actually yes. Maet (the phenomenal Escapist movie reviewer) links his blog to the end of his reviews, and I visit it quite frequently.

Sorry mate, this counts as advertising, which is against forum rules.

On top of that, the thread has no discussion.

I don't think I'm fully comprehending what you're saying.
Please elaborate.

Pretty much just that it is proper educate to post the video ON this page, and then have a link to your personal site/video holing site at the bottom

That way you don't force people to go to your site.

A good example of this is the reviewer Maet, who keeps a link to his blog at the end. And I go to it frequently.

Ah. Yet, how do I embed videos onto the page?

I have to say, your age is a factor in making me take your reviews seriously--after all, how can you empathize with characters who are years older than you, and who participate in activities that you have no frame of reference for you in your real life?

That being said, you have decent camera presence. Your voice is squeaky, but you have good diction and you are clearly passionate about films...but you need a hook, an angle that you can exploit. You could possibly make videos AIMED for kids your age--other web-savvy ten-year olds might really like you. I can easily see you tearing apart horrible children's movies like a ten-year old Nostalgia Critic, maybe pointing out how you are far more intelligent than Hollywood thinks kids your age are. I dunno.

As it stands, however, I can't really take your reviews of big blockbuster movies seriously. Your Sherelock Holmes review isn't bad, and you are capable of actually breaking down a film, but you had some rather weak points, and you need to hone a unique style for your own. Keep at it, but if you insist on doing v-logs right NOW, you need to give the audience something new to watch.

Christ, all of a sudden I feel REALLY old!
Same, I'm 16 and you've made ME feel old. Sweet Jesus.

EDIT: Also no offence, but I only really like to listen to my movie reviews and stuff from people like Movie bob who have like YEARS of movie geekness behind them and can reference it at any point.

So in that respect although you made the reviews, alot of people will not listen or care about what you have to say as your probably younger than they are, so they will prefer their point of view to yours.
I feel I attract the sorta-geeky audience. That are under 15. And are male.
Now I feel small. Thanks.
