So, in the spirit of making threads that fail, I want to know how spoiled you were as a kid.
I know some people who got 15 big, expensive presents at Christmas, and had rooms just to display all their Lego in perfectly assembled order.
I knew less kids who got very little, but I know they are out there and I want to hear from them.
My parents didn't seem to believe in fun, so Christmas was normally a time for me to get another torch, a pair of binoculars, a watch or a windbreaker. My dad loved these 4 types of gifts and would always enthusiastically tell me that they would come in handy. I never got to use any of them though (except the watches), and they sit dusty in my drawers. Santa never read my Christmas list apparently.
That left getting myself anything fun up to me. I remember once I took out a loan to buy an X-Box, and spent 2 years paying it back on my crappy highschool wages. I also remember the year I saved all my pocket money to buy a lego set, oh the glory when I opened that glossy box.
Anyway, how spoiled were you?
