Poll: Spy sappin' my drop system!

Hate to beat a dead horse... but I was recently fortunate enough to find a hat on Team Fortress 2! UNFORTUNATLY it was for the engineer, which I never play or care to.
Valve should really change how this system works... How do you think they could?

OT-How about item trading?

Pretty sure they're working on item trading.

However, it will be next to useless as far as trading guns is concerned, as now that new guns are so easy to come by, they're not really a valuable commodity in the game except for very new players who wont have any. But they wont be able to trade for new guns, as they will have nothing that anyone else wants. It all sounds a bit flawed to me.

As far as trading hats goes, it might work, but I'm sure as hell keeping whatever hat I unlock, (if and when I get one) as they are all equally ace...

I don't like the item pick ups, I didn't get a single new item from it, I got all my stuff through achievements, I got determined after like a month of waiting for a single new(not repeat item) and played for a few hours straight and got all the items.

It could have worked out for someone but not me.

Trade system, and increased hat drops (again). I love the fact that I have 8 FaNs, but no hats, and I've been playing for 200 hours since that hat update came out.

They should've kept it the way it was but added random hats as a bonus. But it's too late now so just work on new updates, L4D2 and HL2:3.

Not to single you out but why do people like you, who have no real place in the topic, feel the need to state that they aren't involved, and nothing more.

I mean, if an American made a thread about healthcare and a foreign responded saying they didn't know much about American health care, but commented about theirs, etc, it would be valid.

A golfer making a thread about golfing could do without people wasting thread space by saying "I don't golf so it doesn't apply to me"

I think they should at least increase that hat drop rate, I too got an Engineer hat, a class I play often (Texas Slims Dome Shine).

Frankly, I don't really care for the drop system. Sure, I got the bow from it, but I think it was better trying to get achievements to unlock weapons.

Hats? Hats are pointless IMO and lead to idle servers.

Vanity items play a big part in alot of games, some people care. Others don't.
But this is about the drop system, not the hats.

I'd like to see the Item Trading feature.

Also, did you know for about every 14,000 seconds you play, you have a 3.57% chance a getting a hat?

Seriously? is that true? Thats like trying to win the lottery..

I've played about 150 hours since that hat thing came, still no new hat.. That is annoying..
