My perfect spy is like the Jackal in the Day of the Jackal. That guy was a genius!

How do you like, your spies in the morning?

Uh...I think I've overdone that joke. Honestly, I prefer my spies to have all of the gadgets and stuff. In fact, gadgets and trenchcoats make the perfect spy.

Go on, you know him...

None of the above. A true spy is never memorable as much as James Bond would lead you to believe one should be.

Spies that utilise a number of disguises and wear things other than the stereotypical outfits in films.

*EDIT*

I was thinking more along the lines of Inspector Gadget, but you know. He's done some spying in his time. The cartoon version obviously...

Suits, it looks more professional and is slightly less obvious than a Trechcoat & Fedora or a full Tux.

Naw, to hell with Gadget. If he didn't exist, there would be no Gadget boy, and I think that would be a good trade off because Gadget Boy is horrendous.

Exactly, the best spies are nondescript and not even recognisable as a spy.

James Bond is probably the world's worst spy... he's famous for being a spy yet every time he meets someone he tells them his real name.

"Bond... James Bond. Shit! I mean Incognito... Guy Incognito".

Or he's the worlds best spy because he still gets away with it.

James Bond is probably the most infamous and easily my choice.

Trenchcoat variety looks better in the street, while suit or tuxedo is better for action sequences. So i'd say both. But i won't - because you can hide a sniper rifle or a jetpack under your trenchcoat, and i don't think many people will notice.

A simple morning suit will allow you to travel unnoticed to any location on the planet. You are a business man, you are simply doing business, there is nothing about you of interest to the authorities, move along...

This. But I still think spies look cool in a suit.
