There was a James Bond RPG ages ago that I can recall friends of mine playing. I didn't personally get into it, but as it was explained to me, each mission you ran got you a certain amount of "fame" and if you got too much fame, you were basically a dead man walking, since you'd be marked by everyone. What made James Bond so special in that game was that he had an absolutely ridiculous fame rating and yet, was still alive.Destal said:Or he's the worlds best spy because he still gets away with it.Jamash said:Exactly, the best spies are nondescript and not even recognisable as a spy.Proteus214 said:None of the above. A true spy is never memorable as much as James Bond would lead you to believe one should be.
James Bond is probably the world's worst spy... he's famous for being a spy yet every time he meets someone he tells them his real name.
"Bond... James Bond. Shit! I mean Incognito... Guy Incognito".
James Bond is probably the most infamous and easily my choice.
Emphasis on the 'slightly' I'm guessing. That guy is so obvious its not even funny. I have no idea how he could possibly be successful ever. Just sayin'Cpt_Oblivious said:Suits, it looks more professional and is slightly less obvious than a Trechcoat & Fedora or a full Tux.

You're obviously referring to the TF2 Spy. He wears a suit, not a tux. A tuxedo has a bow tie, for example, the TF2 Spy wears a regular tie. Which I prefer, by the way.SnowCold said:A Tux

Oh, come on. Obviously, if he was going to rob a bank, he'd wear a mask to disguise himself as one of the tellers or guards. He'd also sap all the security cameras and one-hit kill everyone while they weren't looking. He'd be awesome!Taerdin said:Emphasis on the 'slightly' I'm guessing. A ski mask is probably the most conspicuous thing you could ever wear. Seriously, try walking into your local bank wearing one and being inconspicuous, I dare you.
depends on which Bond you follow, the one in the books was very different from the movies, ie no whacky gadgets and suchProteus214 said:None of the above. A true spy is never memorable as much as James Bond would lead you to believe one should be.
I just failed, so hard.Assassinator said:This man wins the thread. Why choose, just mix!Davey Woo said:I like both, why not, Suit with a trenchcoat and a Fedora?
