Love the comedians of comedy, and Louie CK and Bill Burrs specials always make me crack up. I love blue comics, I've always wanted to try my hand at it.

One of my all time favourites is Bill Hicks. Shame he died...
If anyone DARES to desecrate the name of Bill Hicks, they deserve to be struck by lightning. Bill Hicks is a legend of stand-up and a pioneer for humorist severywhere.

The closest person I can think of to Bill Hicks is Berndon Burns, who's a funny bastard and a bit too full on for most people, but he speaks the truth.

George Carlin of course, though he's been mentioned plenty, and the less popular, but just as great, Bill hicks.

I rarely watch stand-up. Or most comedies.

I've only seen two: Jeff Dunham because I was wasting time with my dad and... some comedian whom I have no clue his nme is.

I've got a ton, Tim Hawkins, Jim Gaffigan, George Carlin, Mike Birbiglia, Jeff Dunham(Who, coincidentally, I'm distantly related to), Russell Peters, Eddie Izzard, Daniel Tosh, Dane Cook before he became a douche, just a few of many.

Ricky Gervais, Johnny Vegas, Reginald D. Hunter, Michael McIntyre, Sean Lock, Frankie Boyle, etc.

The BBC's 'Live at the Apollo' is really good for showcasing up-and-coming standup comics (as well as some well known ones), so you could always watch that (as well as the spin-off-ish 'Comedy Roadshows').
