I'd have to call them my favorite movies series. Ep. 4, 5, and 6 I think are better (as popular opinion goes around here) but I still enjoy Ep 2 and 3.

The story of Anakin becoming Darth Vader really isn't quite as enjoyable as the story of the Clones and the rest of the Jedi Order before, and during the Civil war.

I loved them. Story wise original trilogy wins but action wise you can't beat the prequels.

I have, i liked it, but i watched only like 2 or 3 movies and didn't get much and i played two games... and that's about it.
I love Star Wars, but i'm not that big of a fan to actually pay attention.

The original series is amazing and ground breaking. The prequels suck but 1 wasn't too bad and received way too much hate.

Saw 'em all in their proper order (4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3). Enjoyed all of them except 3. 5 was my favorite.

I've seen them. I got over them around age 10 and have been trying hard to not look back despite my friend's best efforts. On the other hand, every time I look back, I find yet another reason why I just want to abandon the entire SW universe.

Yeah, 1 wasn't too bad. But I DID see a version of 1 where all the scenes with Jar-Jar Binks were edited out. It worked! I liked the film more =]

from the beginning, george lucas was planning to do 4,5,6, then 1,2,3, and then 7,8,9, so that you could see what happened before and after luke. but he got diabethes(?) so he didn't do 7 8 and 9. too bad. and i have seen all star wars.

If you count the two god awful Star Wars: the Clones Wars animated, and The holiday special, they would be seven and eight. I am almost scared to see what nine would be...

OT: I must say this. Star Wars is the reason I became a nerd. That is all.

Of course i have! I actually saw the prequels first so i'm inclined to like them. of course the originals are the best though. It seems to me that most girls i know haven't seen it

I don't understand all the prequel hate. Yes, they had their fair share of flaws, but definitely not enough to call them bad, or even mediocre.

^_^ They are just wonderfully made and fun films. Without a doubt.Return of the Jedi is definitely on my top 30 favorite films. though its actually just the original trilogy I really loved. It wasn't that the prequels were the worst films ever made-they were a good watch when you watched them the first time-but they were for the most part very poor ( "first" one was just flat out bad and Having Hayden Christensen was probably was crippled the second two for me. ) and no where near as good as the original 3.

rectify the situation-he must see the movie.
oh and it must be watched in order by release date-not chronologically.
