Okey, this thing has bugged me for some time now!
*spoiler, kinda*
in the begining of the game, you play as darth vader. so far all good.
you just walk around killing everyone and chilling, like darth vader should. cuz he is darth vader. but here is my problem: You kill the freaking Jedi, correct?
and then you find his SON... Jedies aren't supposed to have kids, right?
then they have a connection to this world, that will lead them towards the dark side *dramatic music* is this just somthing good ol' George forgot when he wrote the script? or is it planned that the father of the main character is a "sinner" that bbetrayed the jedies by having a night on the city? or even got married?
... I feel like I am making a big deal over nothing here but this sh*t bugs me...

There are actually many instances in the star wars universe where Jedi have children. For example Andur Sunrider was a jedi but he had a wife and daughter, both which would become jedis'... Nomi sunrider in fact became on the greatest jedi masters.

Well, seeing as we no nothing about the main character's father, he could have left the jedi for love for all we know. Or he might have escaped after the clones betrayed him and found love. Either way, not enough info to be specific.

yeah, that "found love after order 66" idea has struck me as well

According to the in game database WHICH YOU SHOULD READ, His father was a pretty bad jedi to begin with (known for being too adventerous and enjoying war too much) when he met her mother (who was some sort of guerilla leader opposing the seperatists. Or a jedi herself. Or both, it was vague). They fell in love and had a secret romance, and when she got pregnant they decided to just run away from the universe and went to hide on Kyshyyk. -Just- before Order 66. The Mother was killed shortly after Starkillers birth by ...something, imperial troops or a natural predator I can't remember, but the father and son lived amongst the Wookies as honored guests for a few years until Vader showed up.

No, Jedi aren't supposed to have sex or children, but neither were catholic monks, and prior to the Protestant reformation such sexual antics were RIFE.

Telling people "DON'T BREED!" never works, no matter how wrinkled and green you are. Every successful species is driven by the perogative to get BUSEH! Especially humans.

well now, this isn't exactly a huge spoiler... its just like the first 5 mins of the game... if it had been the final 5 min it would have been a huge spoiler though

Oh never played the game. Figured the ending had been spoiled or something.

I believe this was told to players before the game came out, if fact I remember seeing the scene after Vader kills the Jedi before the game was released, although if you never cared about the game that much I guess you could have missed that.
