I don't eat steak a lot though.

Porterhouse or Sirloin. Usually the former, since I'm rarely the one paying.

Rare or Medium Rare. I want it warm but bleeding with a mildly textured outside (...so I guess a fresh-killed steak seared quickly on both sides would be ideal).

I like a a good medium rare porterhouse or ribeye with Montreal Seasoning. That shit is the best. Got hooked on it in Montreal.

My friend on the other hand likes his steak "so rare a good Vet could bring it back!" Lol

What a great idea for a thread. I usually go for medium, or medium rare.
Ty, I got the idea whilst eating my dinner last night. Can you guess what I had?

You're welcome. Well, I guess it wasn't mooing anymore (that could be slightly disturbing), so I'll say medium rare as it points out to be a rather popular choice?

I usually go medium rare because eating raw meat isn't that much fun. And in case anyone asks i have had Steak tartare and i probably wouldn't again, i hate raw egg.

A friend who got me a job at the restaurant where she worked recommended a dish they had just pulled from the menu. Medium rare steak, smothered in monterey and cheddar cheeses and BBQ sauce. Perfection.

Nothing beats a medium cooked bone out Rib-eye in my book. The tenderness, juiciness and falvorfulness gets me every time. Heavenly!

A rare T-bone. Sucks cuz restaurants here aren't allowed to cook rare steak for some dumb ass reason.

Rare to medium-rare, open fire, HP Sauce, with a tall cold glass of a fine beer, followed by some scotch and a Cuban cigar. Life doesn't get any better then that.
