EDIT: I haven't been into my local cinema to watch films in over a year now. I go in, buy a big-ass tray of nachos covered in cheese sauce and then walk home. Cinemas are the only place in the UK I've ever found fresh nachos with cheese. All those years watching Beavis & Butthead made me think we'd soon (seeing as we're USA minus 5-10 years) have nachos being sold everywhere. *sulks*

I don't hate the Xbox or the PS3, I hate their fan boys. I can bring to mind an extra annoying example.

There's a "friend" of mine, let's call him Chump Change. Chump Change likes to sit around in front of his Xbox 360... preaching that the Xbox 360 is "shite" and that the PS3 "rox".

Chump Change says that the PS3 games look the same as the Xbox 360 games because they're being developed for the Xbox 360 first (conveniently forgetting that many games were PS3 exclusive before becoming multi-platform) and that Blu-ray is the way of the future.

He is in a word, stupid. I hate stupid people. Not consoles, they can be as flawed as they want. I hate stupid.

Absolutely! I have a history of picking the winner, I do have a Dreamcast after all!

In all seriousness, I have a PC and a Wii. I prefer the keyboard and mouse to a standard gamepad in nearly every situation in every game, except for racing games...and of those I on'y really like the Mario Kart games. The PC then takes the place of the 360 and the PS3, and has at least 90% of their titles plus a few exclusives to itself.

The Wii is different. It can do things my PC can't, and that's why it was the natural and correct choice for me as far as a console goes. (That and my roommate owns a 360.)

In the gaming community, I see less acts of fanboyism than I see just plain hatemongers. That is, I see more people spewing hate for Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Santa Claus, etc than I see people defending what they like. Maybe it's because nobody is looked down upon for trashing a (insert game/company/elf here) but they are looked down upon for defending it.

I for one say fuck you to the haters; I like Nintendo, I like Sony, I like Microsoft, and I think Santa Claus is a pimp. I'm a fanboy of gaming, and haters can suck my Nintendong.

both systems have their pros and cons. I respect both systems equally. And MGS4 will never come to the 360, unless you want it on 2-3 disks. I find both are equally worth getting.
